After teaching yoga and meditation in city studio set-ups for many years, we have been pondering on taking our teaching closer to nature, in retreat-based environments, where the benefits of the practices can be more easily appreciated. So, last year we decided to tap into the spiritual treasures hidden in the Himalaya and settled down there, where an ancient tradition of yogis and sages have blessed these mountains, valleys and rivers with their uplifting presence.
We would like to invite you to join us in one of our Upcoming Retreats or if you want us to conduct a retreat near your area, get in touch with us!
Camilo de la Fuente
Camilo is an experienced and encouraging teacher of yoga and meditation. Growing up in Chile, South America, he pondered on the fundamental aspects of life from a young age. After two years of pursuing a degree in physics, his spiritual inclination led him to Yoga and Vedanta at the age of 19. In 2008 he traveled to Canada to the Sivananda Ashram to take part on a Yoga Teachers Training Course. Initially planned as a short visit, the trip turned into a 3-year stay. This period of full immersion into the yogic lifestyle proved to be instrumental in igniting the spiritual flame and provided a strong foundation for his sadhana (spiritual practice)
For over 12 years, he has traveled and taught in different ashrams and yoga centers in Canada, India and South America where he has deepened the yogic way of living and gained valuable experience meeting with teachers, students, and fellow yogis.
He has visited India regularly since 2012, cultivating an affinity and love for the country and its spiritual tradition.
Camilo also holds a B. Ed. in English Language. His background as an educator inspires him to always seek for more effective and meaningful ways to transmit the ancient knowledge of yoga.
